I'm green. I don't drive. I ride a bike or walk :)

I am a professional photographer, living and working in the beautiful English Lake District.

With over 19 years of experience in photography I will provide you with stunning photographs. Taking on the challenge of adventure sports, isn't one for the slow, I've got to be quick and precise. Usually taking into account a lot of factors to produce beautiful results.

Shooting mostly trail running, road cycling, open water swimming, adventure races, ultra running, triathlon, night running, obstacle courses and mountain biking. Open to more sports so long as they are outdoors. I can shoot everyone out at your best locations or documentary style in different places along your events route!

Taking on all sorts of weathers including the rains we have here in the UK, you'll be sure to get photographs that you and your competitors will enjoy looking at. James endeavours to capture your event whatever the weather or location. Available for sport events, business events and interior photo shoots.

Statistics

Keeping up with my clients and being unable to drive, I've got to keep fit and am capable of cycling many kilometres and walking high into the fells. I do not feel like transport is an issue for me unless the event is away from the transport I have access too. I get excited when the weather's a bit more interesting but love it when it's sunny and warm. Night time events are interesting!

Experienced on 751 events and photoshoots since late 2003.

I've travelled on foot + bike 10,208.49 kilometres since the start of 2014 at 572 events.
Averaging 1020.85 kilometres per year! About 13,403 kilometres since I started!

I've created memories for more than 129,814 people since the start of 2017!
About 243,726 people since I started!
